HOW DOES GRANDPA'S JERKY TASTE?
Grandpa made jerky for himself -- the way he liked it. It's awesome. It’s the best tasting meat you’ll get your hands on from flavor to texture. Nearly all of his 30+ grandkids can attest and it’s why we learned to make it. It’s the prime rib of jerky with flavor and tenderness to boot. It’ll keep you coming back for more.
WHERE IS YOUR JERKY MADE?
Grandpa would tan our hide if it wasn’t “Made in the U.S.A.” We make our jerky in Redkey, Indiana. Our beef is sourced from the Midwest — no cows south of Kansas are used. Even our packing is printed in Texas and Kentucky.
DOES YOUR JERKY CONTAIN SODIUM NITRITE?
Yes. Grandpa wasn’t health conscious and came up with his recipe before Sodium Nitrite became a dirty word. There is however, very little. That being said, our all natural product Original Sea Salt is made with without nitrates and is expected to come out later this summer, 2018. It was adapted and created for health conscious, Keto and Paleo dieters. Follow us on social media where we'll announce when it's ready.
ARE YOUR ALL JERKY PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?
No. Grandpa didn’t know what gluten was, nor did he care. He just made good jerky. However, our Cajun-Style Mesquite AND the future Original Sea Salt are both gluten-free. We adapted his recipe for a few of us grandkids who are Keto and Paleo dieters. Sea Salt will be out later this summer, 2018.
